Description

The City of Santa Cruz, as part of the 2017 Climate Adaptation Plan Update, conducted an assessment of residents’ social vulnerability to sea level rise and other climate hazards. The objective of the Social Vulnerability to Climate Change Hazards Assessment was to evaluate the geographic scale and drivers of social vulnerability. Local indicators were compiled to form a social vulnerability score for each block group.
